There are many sites where you complete surveys etc to get it for free.

i can really doubt it would be frre but yer, you can complete surveys.

I wish this was true, because for one, i dont understand why we need to pay a monthly/yearly fee only to have to pay for more add-ons, themes etc. It would be an extremely good market move to make XBL free as think of all the memberships = more content bought because people arent pissed about having to pay to get XBL first before having to pay for add-ons.
