Post: Xbox 360 S and Xbox 360 Regular HDD

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Is it possible to use your old HDD from a regular xbox on an Xbox 360 S with Kinect? Because if you can that would be great. I also have a question about a regular HDD.

I have a 250gb HDD that has been completely erased. It has no memory and no partitions. How can I get this to work on an xbox 360 console again?

You can open up the hard drive from the old Xbox and put it in the new xbox. It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's certainly possible.

Have you tried putting that erased 250 GB HDD in an Xbox yet? I would think that the xbox would realize it's been erased and format it and fix the HDD itself? I'm not sure though.

Here's a video tut on transferring old HDD to new xbox:
If you don't have the tools to unscrew it you could always bash it with a hammer and break it open too. Winky Winky

When I insert the HDD into the xbox it says No Storage Device Found or something along those lines.
