I have Astro A40 gaming headset and my friend has a Turtle Beach headset, if we wanted to play xbox live multiplayer split screen black ops could we each hook up our headset to our controller and only hear our sound and talk through it?
I was able to do this with the standard xbox 360 headsets (that come with the xbox), but of course no sound comes through those. Would it work with the astros and turtle beaches?

Thanks.

Not possible sorry :( You can use 2 headsets to chat but you can only use one gaming headset to hear the sounds of the game. Why that is because turtle beachs plug into the T.V. and the T.V. produces one sound, for the use of one headset only. Sorry :(
