Since i dont want to make a new account and want to play on my main gold account could i use the points and download the dlc's to my harddrive then log into my main account and use the dlcs i just downloaded? is this legit?( im fairly sure it is as people who bought this gave positive feedback) is buying accounts legal? could i get banned for this?

Correct and to use arcade full arcade games you have to do the same for it to show up on your main account to play it. I did it with Trials HD works 100% on my XBL account
