and install open iv

open the iv program and install it then find your common.rpf assuming you have one downloaded and open it

open ivneedle and click the one u want to edit
press load/open then at the bottom right it will say what you need to open soo if you wanted to mod weapons you would look for weaponinfo.xml

but to get the weaponinfo.xml or what ever your using just go back to open iv find weaponinfo.xml/what your useing and right click and extract to destop and simply open with ivneedle

once your done editing go back to open iv and right click and press replace

Go back to where you see the three folders and this time select the folder TEXT.
Delete all the languages EXCEPT your own

(we delete the unneeded languages because the file cannot be bigger than the original or the game will not work.)

then back to iv press file rebuild and hit yes

Your done just copy your common.rpf back to your ps3 and play

i almost had it. instead of loading it up with the custom textures it reinstalled the original textures. it said "installing data to hard drive" and it did it it like 10 seconds so im guessing all it did was reinstall the original textures. we need to make it think that its already on the original textures.

i would upload a clean common.rpf for you but i have a drift mod, explosive molotov mod & a molotov shooting annihilator mod haha
