(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});Ok Guys Listen To This Story.
So i was in I.T At school and we where learning about how to make websites.
So they my mate goes up to the teacher, and says, " have you got a 360, Sir? " And The Teacher says no I have a p23 there better.
Then we all started getting in an argument about it then the teacher goes, " i Dont have an xbox 360 becuase its made out of Scrap metal and plasic
So they we all laugh then he goes " its true they dident have enough money.
The ps3 did because they made a PsP.
But the xbox dident because they dident make anything new for a while.
So he goes the ps3 is made from real metal and plasic and the xbox is made from scrap metal and plasic.
And then he goes " Any1 here ever heard of the red rings of death?" And i said i do.
Then he goes " Thats why the xbox always getts it becuase its made out of Scrap Metal.
LMAO, scrap metal is just as "real" as any other sort of metal, it's melted down and reformed as "real metal." A large portion of metal produced today is recycled anyway, so maybe a few of your precious Playstation 3's are made of some recycled metal too.
But I highly doubt a company as rich as Microsoft (or Sony for that matter), would use recycled metal in their console. Anyone who believes this has some serious issues and/or extreme dislike of Microsoft.
The red ring comes from lead solder. It melts from the heat in the xbox and breaks circuit because it is a low melting point. You know the good old towel trick.....Your trapping all the heat inside the xbox to remelt the solder and then it flows to where it was broke. Xbox 360 is not made out of "scrap" metal. It is Possible to have some recycled stuff in them though. Anything you can think of probably has something that has recycled material in it. Anyways Hope this helps somewhat and if not I tried.....And no im not a professor.......Ha ha ha
