Step 2: Go to System Settings->Network Settings

Step 3: Select Connection Type (Wired or Wireless)

Step 4: Select Configure Network

Step 5: Write down the following: IP Address

Subnet Mask

Default Gateway

Step 6: While still in Configure Settings Hit Basic->IP Settings and switch it to Manual

Step 7: Now reenter the IP Address Subnet Mask and Default Gateway

Step 8: (optional) Back out and Test Xbox Live Connection to check if Your Connected

Step 9: Enjoy your never-changing IP Address
