Um thats all you can do i guess but dosent he always receive a message to the email he made the account that his info has been changed.

I don't think so I changed over two accounts yesterday and the new e-mail got messages not the old one

No you really cant do nothing just change the account info login like you did but idk i highly dout he would take the account back unless you dout him.
