That's why you better off getting Playstation 3, Xbox360 is a ripoff especailly they force you buying extra accesioray.

I've experienced similar problems with my xbox, especially in the first few months I started using it, but it seems to have improved now.

There's not a lot you can do, if you're far from the router try repositioning it or repositioning your xbox, and also just try testing the connecting, that usually fixed it for me. Sometimes you may want to try restarting your router too.

For me it was literally moving my router off my shelf and onto my desk that caused it to stop having problems.

You generally always will get a better connection with an Ethernet cable though.

The following 2 users say thank you to Epic? for this useful post:

i agree,my playstation had a 60% and i couldn't do anything so i moved my ps3 to the other side of my room closer to the router and boom 100% and no prooblem, but i keep my xbox wired

This happened to me and the cause of it is probably b/c your NAT type is strict and there are other things running on your router the end result was i had buy a dual band router but try these things and if none of them work then well i would say its the router

1. turn off the router and modem and see if it works
2. both the router and modem should have a reset button try this
3. wire your 360 directly into your router
4. If your playing the basement like i was the router probably doesn't have enough power to get your signal all the way down there you might need a better router
5. make sure you have a secure network with a password someone could be tapping into your router and making your signal horrible
