Okay, let me explain.
I've had GTA IV PC for about 3 years.
I finally got a good pc not too long ago to install it on.
It's running Windows 7 (64-bit)
It's got an ATI Radeon 5570 HD graphics card.
It has a quad-core processor and 8GB of RAM.
When I check Auto Configure settings, it sets all settings to Very High.
It has no frame skipping at all, but it has lag spikes every 3 seconds.
I have tried every method, adding the -nomemrestrict, -novblank, and -norestrictions to the target shortcut of LaunchGTAIV.exe
I have installed the latest patch for the PC version.
I have overclocked y graphics card aswell.
Is there any way I can resolve this annoying issue?
Or is GTA IV PC really that bad of a console port...
Dude it lags like crazy on PS3 even.. ok not like crazy, but every few seconds while say driving through the city getting chased by cops and shooting, if will feel like its lagging.... too much on 1 damn disc.
On PC, it's all on your HDD, so your lag should not be the same issue.. so yeah sorry for the kind of useless reply
