i tried a dazzle dvc 100... didnt work out so good, kept crashing my computer and when i tried to record it would freeze after 2 minutes. just thought id let everyone know

I think people might also find this useful with the dvc 100: to properly record you will need to try lots of different software.. I ended up using Windows Movie Maker, however, it attempts to record in black and white... so you need a program called AMCAP, you do the following:

Load up windows movie maker with the correct recording settings and get to the preview page, but do not start recording, once it is all prepared but in black and white go to amcap and set your video capture filter to Secam, this should force it into colour, you will have to do this for every seperate recording though.
