This position is for an Electrical Engineer to be part of the Kinect’s Sensor development team. The position involves successfully working closely with industrial designers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, software engineers, test engineers, component engineers, and program managers.
The responsibilities of this position are focused on specifying, designing, implementing and verifying subsystems in the sensor electrical design. This includes owning the part selections, schematic capture, PCB layout, BOM, and cost analysis of the subsystem design. The development of the subsystem will start with requirements definition working with team members. You will then be responsible for evaluating the different solution options for functionality, cost and risk, followed by developing the solution, implementing, verifying, releasing to manufacturing and supporting it in production.
