the whisper fan legacy produces 22 more cfm per fan than the whisper fan does. It comes with 3 light setting that you can change as well. Also the whisper fan legacy comes with a "Abzorber" noise vibration reduction system. It helps reduce DVD drive vibration noise. The blades on the legacy are lighter so that it provides less resistance.
