So i have a Xbox elite for about 3 years now. When I try to start up certain games like black ops, mw2, or halo reach the screen goes black.:wtf: In the dashboard though I can see everything. I can press the Xbox guide an stuff, its just the game won't start. My Xbox is also connected to HDTV by a AV cable. Before, my Xbox could play the games but now they cant. :mad:Is their something wrong with the disc? Any ideas to fix this?

Have you tried using a different tv or cable?
Have you tried burning the disc to the hard drive to see if it will play?
Does the disk drive make any weird sounds while starting the games?
If all those fail, my best bet is that there is something wrong with the graphics card.

1st question. Yes i've switched to hmdi still doesn't work
2nd question. No I haven't because I don't have enough space on my hard drive.
3rd question. When I start it up there is no noise except the fans i think or it sounds the same, but when I play other games, when they start up my xbox starts to sound louder then back to normal. I also looked at the disc, and it is scratched up. Could this be the problem?

If you told the full story this would of been answered by now. With the latest dash all flashed consoles that use LT+ can pay AP25 games but only when patched properly. The kinect dash unlocked AP25 in those games so just burn them off again after you run them through ABGX. Why did you not say your console is flashed? Because it definatly is as they are the only 3 games i had to re-burn off.
