They announced during E3 that there will be a multiplayer beta invitation for this game with copies of Halo 3: ODST

Its from before halo 1 dude. If you ever read the instruction manule you would know. At the begining of halo 1 the pillar of autum was fleeing the planet reach, which was getting owned by the covenants bombs. This is where most of the spartans died. I'm guessing you play as one.
