I just purchased a new xbox 360 250gb slim with operation flashpoint red river, call of duty 4, 4 in 1 arcade and 2 wireless controllers.

My xbox live connection test works(xbox 360-->my broadband-->Internet--->Xbox live), but after the connection test, it asks me to download the update, i select ok to download it but it doesn't download it at all.
I select Yes,Update Now and it supposedly starts to downlaod the update but the download bar doesn't move and after 30 seconds or so a message pops up saying 'Can't download the update. To test your update blah blah blah... I tried downloading it 4 times now and it never downloads the update.
It's not my broadbands fault as im nat type 1 on the ps3 and have a pretty decent connection. Any help is greatly appreciated Thanks
