Does anyone know if this happens with wired pads? I need a new one and wired are cheaper and don't need charging all the time. It's not exactly like I sit 5m from the TV, either.

the buzzing noise is caused by the charging of the controller i find its based on how loud your chat control is if you turn down your a chat a little bit you can pretty much get rid of the buzzing noise and still hear chat

Well I need a new pad so I was wondering if the buzzing noise still happens on a wired pad?

no if your controller is completely wired then it wont buzz because its never running a charging process on the battery pack
