Stereoscopic 3D Heading over To Xbox 360

It was rumoured on the 24th May 2011 that Xbox 360 are planning to introduce stereoscopic 3D support to their consoles. It has not been confirmed yet, but an official announcement is likely at this year’s E3, these rumours have been circulating around for the past few days. The technology that Microsoft (Xbox) is planning to use is said to be the same technology used by Sony (Play station 3). There are a limited amount of games playable in 3D on the Play station 3, but Sony has also said that they are going to expand their 3D Knowledge and that a lot of the upcoming games will have the 3D feature. Back in January 2010, Microsoft’s director of product management for the Xbox 360 stated that the Xbox 360 is fully capable of supporting 3D, they also stated that they would have supported it a few years back but were un-sure on the user’s point of view and were worried that Xbox gamers would not like this new feature. Microsoft’s plan to bring out this new 3D feature is to try and compete with their rivals Sony. At this moment in time, stereoscopic 3D is unique for the PS3 and is one of the many reasons why people buy it, it allows those with a 3D-enabled television to play games like Killzone 3 and GT5, as well as third person shooters Call of Duty: Black Ops and Crysis 2, in full 3D. Microsoft plan to bring out a “Full-on HDMI 1.4 stereoscopic 3D in the 1280x1470 twin 720p framebuffer configuration.” For those of you that don’t understand this, it means VERY high quality; this would mean a 720p image per eye, which is very high definition. As I wrote at the start of this article, these are only small details on Microsoft’s plan to come; you should expect more details on this story at the E3 event (Electronic Entertainment Expo) on June 6th.

By the way guys this was my news app :carling: can serious people (not trolls! :carlingSmile give me some constructive criticism on what I did badly and how I can improve? Because I want to know how I can improve in the future Smile so yeah Smile quote me Cool Man (aka Tustin)

It has been rumoured that on May 24th 2011, Microsoft are planning to introduce " Stereoscopic 3D " support for the XBOX 360 console line.
Even though, such rumours have not yet been confirmed, an official announcement is likely to take place at this year's E3.

These rumours have been circulating for the past few days. The technology that Microsoft are planning to use, (for Stereoscopic 3D technologies) is said to be the same as is used by SCEA within their PlayStation 3 Line.
There are a limited amount of games playable in Stereoscopic 3D currently on Sony's PlayStation 3; however, Sony have also said that they are planning on expanding their Stereoscopic 3D compatibility and claim that a lot of the upcoming titles will have Stereoscopic 3D compatibility.

Back in January 2010, Microsoft’s director of product management for the Xbox 360 announced that the Xbox 360 is/ can be fully capable of supporting Stereoscopic 3D , they have also stated that they had planned on having Stereoscopic 3D a few years back. Unfortunately heads at Microsoft were unclear on the user’s view of Stereoscopic 3D and were worried that their current Xbox user base would not like this feature.

Microsoft’s plan to bring out this new Stereoscopic 3D feature is obviously an act to try and compete with their rivals Sony. Currently, Stereoscopic 3D is a unique feature, only available to PlayStation 3 users, and is one of the many reasons people buy it.

Stereoscopic 3D allows users with a 3D-enabled TV to play games such as: “Killzone 3” and “GT5” as well as first person shooters, such as: “Call of Duty: Black Ops” and “Crysis 2”, in full 3D. Microsoft plans to bring out a “Full-on HDMI 1.4 Stereoscopic 3D with 1280x1470 twin 720p frame-buffer configuration”. For those of you baffled by this; it basically means that Microsoft plan to introduce, VERY high quality gaming, enabling a 720p imaging, which is very high definition (Not quite as good as Sony’s PlayStation 3’s 1080p/i).
At the time I corrected this article, I had no idea what I was on about.

These are only small details about, Microsoft’s plan to bring Stereoscopic 3D to you can expect more details on this story if you follow the E3 event (Electronic Entertainment Expo) on June 6th.
