I would buy an Xbox, but I wouldn't sell your PS3, the only feature that the Xbox has the the PS3 doesn't is party chat, and even though that is awesome, it is not worth 50$ a year.
If you are a hardcore COD player the Xbox is better for you, but I still wouldn't switch for that reason alone.
Also before some Xbox fanboy accuses me of being a fanboy, I own both consoles, I enjoy playing both, but I still think the PS3 is a superior console.

its worth it ive had xbox for awhile now and xbox is a lot better than ps3 the connection is never bad and their is less connection inturrupted an u can just go to the store for a 3 month card for 20 bucks and or a 12 month for 50 its up to u had u dont always have to have ur credit card in ur xbox acc and dont give ur info to ppl cuz ppl scam alot
