Yes this all comes down to your console Overheating. I would suggest making sure your Xbox is cooled off and has the proper ventilation.

Just find your secondary error code - hold sync and press the eject button then record the sequence 4 lights-0 3 lights=3 2=2 1=1
it could either be
0011 The CPU is overheating
Fixes-
1) Make sure the CPU heatsink is making good contact with the chip, apply a thin layer of compound and put the heatsink on without screws, make sure it gives a good imprint then.
2)Replacing the CPU X-Clamps/Applying new thermal compound
3) Cut the temperature sensor trace
0012 The GPU is overheating
Fixes-
1) Make sure the CPU heatsink is making good contact with the chip, apply a thin layer of compound and put the heatsink on without screws, make sure it gives a good imprint then.
2)Replacing the GPU X-Clamps/Applying new thermal compound
3) It can also be fixed sometimes by just a slight tightening the GPU bolts,(1/4 or 1/8 turn). xboxgamer815
0013 Cold joint under RAM/ RAM overheating
Fixes-
1) Putting the faulty RAM brick under pressure with a 3mm thick craft foam pad.
2) Reflow the RAM chips - Oven Reflow preferably for the bottom RAM
- Reflow the 2 ram bricks under the GPU heatsink 99% of the time its these that are causing the error.(DCP)
3) Hybrid X-Clamp Fix
