You talkin to me?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've been wanting an xBox for a long time, and I might get one soon. But all my friends are saying if I do, it will mess up my gameplay on my Ps3. Will it actually mess me up if I play xBox?

The analog sticks move in 45 degree angles. They are not as good as the Ps3's. One thing I notice whenever I play Xbox I from Ps3 I need to switch my sensitivity from 9 to like 4. The positioning of them you can get used to, but the sticks themselves are worse than Ps3's analogs IMO.

Yes, however there are numerous drawbacks of the PS3's controller too, which makes what you just said irrelevant.

@OP: Unless you're rich, don't get an XBOX. I'm not saying that because I think PS3 is better, because truthfully I prefer the XBOX, however the 2 systems are very alike and they probably differ most in terms of controllers. If you have your heart set on the XBOX, you shouldn't have any problems. I know a lot of people say having both consoles screws up their aim & sensitivity on their original console- I've never had that. It takes me about 5 seconds to adjust to how it is then I'm game.

you just have to get used to it again, when i switched from PS3 to 360 my control and aim was mad but now its fine

It will take time to adjust to the controller yes, of-course.

Will it mess your ps3 gameplay up? I don't know, that' something you'll have to find out. My friend plays both and can play equally well on either. I can imagine if you solely play one console and neglect the other you will get too use to that one controller and be worse on the one you neglected.

I have a few friends that play both, and they can play fine on both of them.
