The analog sticks move in 45 degree angles. They are not as good as the Ps3's. One thing I notice whenever I play Xbox I from Ps3 I need to switch my sensitivity from 9 to like 4. The positioning of them you can get used to, but the sticks themselves are worse than Ps3's analogs IMO.

Yes, however there are numerous drawbacks of the PS3's controller too, which makes what you just said irrelevant.
@OP: Unless you're rich, don't get an XBOX. I'm not saying that because I think PS3 is better, because truthfully I prefer the XBOX, however the 2 systems are very alike and they probably differ most in terms of controllers. If you have your heart set on the XBOX, you shouldn't have any problems. I know a lot of people say having both consoles screws up their aim & sensitivity on their original console- I've never had that. It takes me about 5 seconds to adjust to how it is then I'm game.
