Post: Xbox customer support sucks

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I had a recent experience by calling Xbox customer support and I will say that they are ass holes. I had a simple question. I needed to know what type of disk drive my consol had. I called into Xbox and got to the hardware department and asked the agent "What type of disk drive does my Xbox have?". She asked "Why?". I said "Well, I would like to know so that away I can fix it" then she said "Well I can't give you that information because it violates the terms of service" so I said. "Well I'm looking at the T's and C's right now, and I don't see we're that states anywhere "Agents are not aloud to tell you what type of disk drive you have"" so she put me on hold to tell me where at in the T's and C's that was.

When she took me of hold after about 5minutes. She said its not in the T's and C's. So I asked her "So you lied and giving me misleading information?". Then she said she was sorry and kept going on and on about the system tampering crap and I said this isn't anoint tampering! This is about the information regarding my Xbox that I fully payed for. So then it escalated to a supervisor at that point cuz I was extremely pissed about being lied to.

I spoke with the supervisor and the call dropped. So I had to call back in again and then I surprisingly got the same supervisor. I had to explain it all to the agent again and then I had a simple request of 1month of free gold. The supervisor said "I'd be glad to get you that gold but it is something the Xbox Live department will have to do for you.". So he transfers me there (I spent a total of 1hoir and 30 minutes on the phone with them and I had a few friends in my party that were listening as well)

So I got to the live department. Told her the situation again and then it escalated to a supervisor. So I spike with 3 agents and 2 supervisors. This was getting on my last nerve and I was about to start yelling at them. Pretty much I didn't get my gold membership I asked for and was lied to twice, interrupted several times, wasted an hour and a half of my time. So who all here has had a fun experience with Xbox Customer support?

I'm not sure if this is what you ment but I said I try Smile I'm not quite sure if its the same on the new xbox.

Hmm this one time I called because my account got banned for a payment option the guy told me to buy a 3 month code and I did then I call the next day and they tell me I have to wait 3-14 days for my account to get unbanned then I started yelling at them saying I just spent $15 for a 3 month code and my accounts still banned and they hung up on me Sad Awesome.

They tend to apparently "Disconnect" when they don't know how to solve your problem or they get tired of listening to you, in hopes that you won't call back or get them again.

Yeah I know what you mean man. I use to be an AT&T CSR/CSA (Customer Service Rep/Agent) I did what they did all day. Set in front of a computer with my headset and take calls. Being yelled at and cussed at and everything you could think of.
