-Open My Computer, right click on your USB drive, select format, check off quick format and continue. (This step is optional, if you have important stuff in your flash drive, then avoid this step.)

-Open your USB drive and create a folder: $SystemUpdate

-Copy the su20076000_00000000 file into the '$SystemUpdate' folder

-Plug USB into your box and follow the on-screen instructions.

and there you have it, the new NXE update. And YES, you can connect to Xbox Live regardless on what Microsoft says, cause I'm connected to live atm with the new NXE update.

Just when it detects and update, just keep updating until it stops. =]

OH and if this is in the wrong place, then can a mod not be lazy and move it?
