As you can see, the box on the right is the new packaging for the 360... but it lacks the Pro model description and leaves just the Arcade unit and the Elite unit descriptions.

This was hinted at during June by Ars Technica's mole, and the new photos revealed by GameStop seem to have finally confirmed that the Xbox 360 Pro Model, has now been discontinued.

This could mean that the Xbox 360 Elite is in line for a price cut, possibly to the price the Pro is currently retailing at. After all, with all the rumors of what Sony has in store for Playstation 3, it would make sense for Microsoft to make a move and try draw some of that crowd away.

i dunno why anyone would want a ps3 unless i mean they like lagging around all thier games online price shouldnt matter i would still pay full price for an elite jsut to know i get no lag from my system not including all the things 360 has

Yea i go to the mall a lot with my Dad Cause My Parents are divorced. The Gamestop people there were telling one of their friends not to buy an xbox 360 yet because of something like this. So im pretty sure it's going to happen
