this is one help line 1-800-4MY-XBOX (for north america). also wen u get the red rings ur xbox doesnt start, but im not sure so contact them.

The 3 red rings means it over heated you played long if not this happened to me i played minutes atleast and it gets the 3 red rings i took it to game station. The man was very kind and he gave me a chance to buy the insurance and then swap the Xbox. So it was a win win situation the insurance was 2 years i might break it in the last year for a brand new one lol.

Wow dude that sucks. All he did was get the RRoD and then did the towel trick so it would work for two weeks. Although it most likely won't help call MS up and tell them everything. Also send me the link to the posting I was scammed recently and I have realized I absolutely will not tolerate it.
