You cant bro.
best thing you could do is make that
HDD your internal. but thats also difficult

or you could always just connect it as a USB but
it will only work for up to 16 GB

Expect the unexpected!
If the HDD is formatted to FAT32 then it will work, dont know the max size as I haven't used one on mine but as long as it is FAT32 formated your ok

it says the max is 16gb... is there any way to avoid that?

What format is your external HD already? I bought a terabyte not too long ago and had this same problem, read many forums and found a program to convert it to FAT32. BUT, once I did that I lost an enormous amount of space. If you're willing to give that up then go for it, just letting you know what's down the road for ya.

Also, I don't remember the name of the program but it started with an S, if that helps? Sorry. Hope I helped! Smile

just go to system then storage and the usb storage device click where it says configure now(It´ll take all the memory of your usb) or customize(you can choose how many memory) after you select it your xbox 360 will format the usb and you ready to go

Connect your external then tab over to storage. Once there click on your drive, it should be there. You have 2 options Configure Now (I think) & Customize. Go with Customize as Configure Now will wipe your entire external. Customize will take the 16GB limit that is allowed and use that as storage. Hope that helped :y:

no other way to use all the capacity right? ;/ i made it work with the 16gb limit...

Nope, believe me I tried and ended up with a wiped 500GB external :(
