(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); EA's CEO, John Riccitiello has stated that the publisher is "really positive" about Sony's motion sensing technology and Microsoft's Project Natal, while noting that he believes EA will be ready to announce its plans for the hardware in "early to mid 2010".

During a post-earnings conference call for EA's Q1 fiscal report, Riccitiello said in reply to an investor question about the rival motion sensing technologies, "We are positive overall and yes we are planning to support both, and we haven't yet announced our plans to do so but we shall do so at the right time frame for that, which is likely to be early to mid 2010, so you are sort of jumping the gun on that."

If EA does announce its plans for the hardware in early to mid 2010, then this would suggest that the publisher is expecting to launch its PS3 wand or Natal based games towards the end of the year (taking into account a few months of publicity prior to each product's launch).
