I recieved a gaming laptop this morning, and it happens to have an HDMI input which im guessing I can play my Xbox through. Im wondering if I can record this gameplay straight from the screen with some sort of program?
If this is in the wrong section, please feel free to move it.

Thanks Guys!

most computers with hdmi are output only. meaning you cannot record gameplay through it. both my laptops have hdmi ports and i can assure you this doesnt work.
