from what ive heard some people might mot belive me but the rrod is not in the new xbox 360s its only in the older versions like the 20 gb and such microsoft made the rrod so wen the xbox got the rrod poeple would have to pay more to fix and make more money ur xbox will not get the rrod just make sure u bought the protection service plan

Nahh man thats crap it was a fault with the machines like they had to change the chipset or something to falcon which are less likely to get rrod


Yeah and dont put your xbox in a confined space or on the carpet

If you can stand it up on its side so its not on the carpet, just seems to help keep it cool. Dont put it in a confined space give it like 10-20cms of space round each side to stop it overheating.

Dont leave it on for ageees just turn it off when your not using it.

Don't be a douche online just keep the temper down and nobody will have any problems. If you glitch most people will be pissed but just ignore them.

just keep it on its side on ur desk or sumthing dont put it on carpet or your floor and give about a good 3-4 inches around each side and u should be good

dont buy a cooling fan made for xbox they can run against the internal fan and make it overheat, instead use a household fan and just place it next to the xbox facing it

Dont put it in a smaller cabinet it needs room to breathe

Xbox 360 60gb models have minimal chance of getting the RRoD since that problem has been addressed.

is a normal household fan good? can some1 confirm that its good and wont do nothin bad?

Trust me thats what the employees at gamestop told me to do and dont say ohh what do they know because gamestop has some partnership with xbox where they give them there refurb consolesand they told gamestop how to properly use it.
