Call of Duty: Classic will be priced at 1200 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live Marketplace and £9.99 on PlayStation Network, according to a listing on Play.com
On its Modern Warfare 2: Hardened Edition product page, the retailer claims that Call of Duty: Classic (which is bundled in with the Hardened Edition) has an "equivalent DLC value of 1200 MS points (£9.99)".
Normally we'd take any price or release dates supposedly revealed by retailers with a pinch of salt, but in this case it's slightly different. Both Play.com and GAME.co.uk's description of the Hardened Edition are identical, suggesting that a sales sheet full of facts and figures has recently been passed onto retailers.
GAME, however, has removed the price point for Call of Duty: Classic in their listing. Has Play.com jumped the gun by disclosing information they weren't yet supposed to? We think so.
We've put a call in with Activision for comment.
Modern Warfare 2 launches worldwide on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on November 10th.
