Time for an early math lesson with Call of Duty 2 and a few other of the games that were in bold font in the quoted post.
First Strike:
I bought Call of Duty 2, the second week in July of this year for about 10USD at my local Gamestop...used and in great condition.
They want 30USD for the game on demand.
That's a 20USD difference, something that is completely unfair for the consumer because if that person is trying to collect this game for whatever reason and they cannot find a physical copy of the game, it's just slapping them in the face and making them pay the outrageous over-pricing for something that could be found on Amazon for about 10-20USD or at Gamestop for even cheaper.
Second Strike:
I bought Bioshock maybe about December of last year...can't remember when, but I bought it for 20USD at Blockbuster in the new condition that it was. Worth every penny.
Games on demand once more, over-prices the game for the consumers because they feel the need that it's worth the extra 10USD instead of using a site like Amazon or eBay to compare prices nowadays with certain games...but then again though, that's Microsoft for you.
Third Strike:
Sonic the Hedgehog on demand is about 20USD!
...
...
...
Who would buy the Next-Gen version of Sonic the Hedgehog, to be completely honest. Wasn't the game a real big flop for Sega considering they were the ones who were in charge of the game and how it was laid out and all as well as the developers themself?
If I can remember right, the voice-acting was horrendous, the game-play was completely broken, and so on and so forth.
That isn't worth 20USD, and if people are actually buying that game off of on demand, then it just goes to show that people are more retarded than I thought they worth. If anything, rent the game and save yourself the extra 10-15USD.
As you can see, I don't like on demand one bit.
