Microsoft has not yet said anything about a console but, has announced that they will partner up Amtel to launch a new generation gaming controllers. Gamers, meet the maXTouch S which is said to be windows 8 and windows phone 8 certified. the controller will offer an intuitive touchscreen.

a touch screen would pointless on a controller..

I highly doubt they would release any touch-screen related. In my opinion, that would be a stupid idea.

:lol: if this is true gl with that Microsoft. i don't know about ya but a full touchscreen controller doesn't seem good.

i personally would just use normal controller.

If you needed a replacement controller think how much that would cost , id rather pay 60$ for a normal pad than 200$ for a touch screen one

Oh god, hopefully not, i like controllers how they are, maybe like a touchscreen remote for it, for navigating movies and stuff, but not for playing games.

Im guessing you would get used to it. how manny people look down at there xbox controller before pushing the buttons?

side note i wish for standard controllers

In some ways this would be really awesome but in others it really might suck!!

lol, it would be different that's for sure aha.. wouldn't mind a touch screen controller but it would be a fail unfortunately, too easy to brake
