Rumors on the release date for the highly anticipated Halo 4 surfaced this morning, and it was debatable whether or not it was a legitimate leak. However, Microsoft has officially confirmed that Halo 4 will be hitting the shelves worldwide on Tuesday November 6th, 2012.

The story kicks off four years after the events of Halo 3 the publisher states: ”Master Chief returns to confront his destiny and face an ancient evil that threatens the fate of the entire universe.”

After the flop of Halo Reach and ODST will this chapter sell as well as the phenomenon that began as Halo Combat evolved? I am hoping it lives up to it's predecessor.
