that's where i got mine but i trade my PS3 for it.

My FAT PS3 for a SLIM XBOX 4GB

1. In Craigslist you can Meet the guy selling it and u guys could go to a Mcdonalds that has electricity plugs so u can test the Xbox before buying it.
2. Some are really cheap and good
3. Get the Slim Version its Way better, quieter and very low chances if none of getting the RROD. If u want a 20gb Hard drive u can buy one on Ebay or amazon for $20 and just flip the Xbox and plug in the Hard Drive.

the 4 GB slim Xbox the 4GB its internal so u can have 2 Hard Drives' he 4GB internal one and the External one u can buy from stores.

Some PC hard drives work and Older Xbox models Hard Drive also work.

I'd go ebay, you can pick up some major bargains there if you look. Some people put in lame descriptions so they dont get as many 'hits' so to speak. The less views an item has had, the more likely you're going to get it for a bargain. But also as you're in the UK I'd give Gumtree.co.uk a try
