How to get the Autumn (Fall) 2012 Beta Dashboard Update
Hey NGU, so here is how to get the autumn (Fall in the US) 2012 Beta Dashboard Update. This is pretty simple and requires no USB, JTAG, or hacked xbox.
First what you want to do is visit this site You must login or register to view this content. and sign in with your Xbox Live Account.
Once you've done that, simply hit next and then fill in the page. You only need to create a display name and agree to the terms and conditions.
You'll need to keep going through a few pages then you'll get to a survey (Not anything like sharecash, just a few questions about your xbox, gamertag, etc.). Once you've finished that and have gone to the next page, on the left you'll see a quick link to 'Product Keys'. Go ahead and click that. Once you've done that, click 'Request new product key' and a new product key should be available below. To view the key itself, just hit 'Get Key' and it'll appear on your screen.
Once you've got the code, redeem the code on your xbox
I've heard some people sometimes have problems with redeeming dashboard beta updates on their xbox, if you're one of these people, go to xbox.com and redeem the code on your account. Once you've done that, it should be in your Active downloads over on your xbox Once it's downloaded, run the app, follow the steps on screen and you'll now have the beta dashboard update
