Xbox.Com has overhauled their status page, and it now displays service status in real time, as well as gives you a detailed break down of what is actually wrong with the service, and what you can expect not to work or have issues with.

It's a good idea to have this link handy, as with the new dashboard update being out, there has been quite a few service problems here lately.
