I actually just picked up a pair of these. They aren't anything special.. They have clear, distinct, sound, but they don't seem to be anything special. I really prefer my xl1s. I'm returning my xlas this week i think. The bigger headphones always seem to be better.

Just please please stay away from any wireless turtle beaches. They interfere with network connection and die within a day.
