(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so i recently moved to ps3 as my xbox broke and was wondering what i could do with my xbox account, ive purchased a lot of content e.g map packs, dlc, etc and im top level on every cod except bo2 as i didnt have my xbox when it came out, and high levels on other games such as bf3... is there anything i could do with it for example sell it? if someone purchased it could they re-download everything i had bought over the 4years the account was on xbox-live?

Your account will have the option to "Licence Transfer" meaning any content downloaded onto your account will be linked to the other persons Xbox if you were to sell the account. (presuming you haven't used this feature within the past 4months).

You could indeed sell your account but doing so here on NGU would require 100 posts before you are allowed to sell anything.

Ranks on older games such as Call of Duty 4 / 5 / 6 wouldn't add much value to your account when selling it as modded services can easily be obtained for those games. Although newer (un modded) games would add value to your account for having higher ranks online. Other things that would increase the value of your account would include Xbox Live membership remaining and Microsoft points on the account.

well im 20th on mw3 etc with quite a few gold guns like 13 or 14 cant quite remember, and i have never used the license transfer feature but like i said i haven't played bo2 yet as it wasn't out at the time when my xbox broke. i will add some xbox live probably around a months worth before i sell it as well... if someone is willing to buy it.

If your going to sell the account I wouldn't add any Microsoft Points or Xbox LIVE to it as although you will be increasing the accounts value, you wont be getting the full money back that you paid for those items to be put on the account as people will want to get it discounted.

Just sell it as is. It's better than letting it sit, you'll have more money than you did before.

Just a heads up. You need 100 posts or more to trade on NGU
