Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition was one of the biggest surprises at the Tokyo Game Show, with Capcon producer Jun Takeuchi taking the stage at Sony's press briefing to demonstrate the title and its new motion controls. Takeuchi also announced that the game would see extra content, confirmed later to be a playable sequence in the original RE mansion. This sequence was shown in the original RE5 release as a flashback.
While the motion controls are presumably a PS3-only thing until Microsoft starts talking specific time frames for Project Natal, we're certain 360 owners wouldn't mind having the scenario available for play even through old fashioned controls. It looks like Capcom thinks this too and may be providing the chance.
Dengeki Online, in a report on a Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles TGS stage event that Capcom plans on releasing the extra content to Xbox 360 in a "different format."
