Microsoft Xbox have today announced that the new system update that features new applications such as Twitter and Facebook will be arriving in the UK on November 17. It was revealed this week that a public beta of the update was on the way so that you can have a go with Twitter, Facebook and Last.FM before the update is finalised. The beta is expected at any time between October 15 and October 31.

It is currently unknown if this update will feature Last.FM or it will follow in another update later on. We're currently waiting on the beta from Microsoft but as soon as we test it out we'll bring you our impressions.
