(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok so after 3 years my arcade (fully pimped out with 20g hard drive 2 controlers wireless adapter and 1000 microsoft points and 12 months of live) finaly caved in on me and got RROD now im at a road block on what to do and ive come down to this

1. Get it fixed whitch may take 3 weeks and L4D 2 and Cod 6 will be out by then.

2. (a sneaky one) Return to gamestop and get maby 100-125$ of tade in and get a new xbox and hope they dont notice the little "surprise" the person who buys it gets

3.Try a at home fix and risk not getting a chance to to one of the first 2.

anny recomendations or tips on how to handle it? +Rep if your tip works

i would try get it repaired look on ebay for a drop off one get it fixed in the same day for like £20

You wouldn't be able to sell it to gamestop because they check the system before they buy it from you. Just send it to Microsoft and deal with not being able to play

DUDE,That's exactly my problem,EXACTLY!I don't know what to do either and i want to play MW2 really badly. OK,I've found the best way so far to still be able to play MW2 and L4D2 but still pay about 40-50 dollars.Just go to a repair servace on ebay and if you ship it to them quickly you will get in about 5 days for about 40-50 dollars.Well, I've solved my problems.

so gamestop checks it huh? dam i doubt m parents will let me do the ebay thing so im probobly forced to do the microsoft fix thing whitch is bull because im probobly gonna get a "Referbrished" one and get red ring in less then a day (at whitch point i demand a free game for the trouble ive had with there companey"
