Well, looks like Xbox won't be putting out a cheaper version of the Xbox One without the Kinect Microsoft have stated that they will not sell the Xbox One separately from the Kinect that is required to be plugged in while the Xbox One is on.

“We have no plans to introduce an Xbox One without Kinect. We believe in Kinect and the value it brings to both games and entertainment, and believe $499 is a great value for what consumers receive with their Xbox One,” a spokesperson for Microsoft told Gamefront.

Tell me what you think of this...obviously bad, but Kinect does give good features.
