Save Wizard Update on the Latest PS4 Firmware

By Darth Saul

Sony released firmware 5.05 for the Playstation 4 earlier this week and Save Wizard has commented on its programs compatibility.

In the wake of the PS4 Firmware 5.50 Beta testing, Sony released a small update this week for the PS4. The new firmware, 5.05, has a size of 357.3MB and only brings performance improvements with it according to Sony. While it may be minor to most PS4 owners, those that use the Save Wizard program are always on edge waiting for an update from the save editor's company.

Gamers involved with save editors and game saves need to be aware of new updates to the PS4 firmware because, with automatic updates, risking an update could ruin an opportunity for editing game saves in the future if the firmware patches the technology.

The company later tweeted out clarification that, yes, their PS4 Save Editor does indeed work on firmware 5.05.

With each new firmware release for the PS4, those in the community hold their collective breath. Save Wizard has had to update their program numerous times on previous firmware updates, but 5.05 seems to have avoided any issues with the editor.

They should really add in cheats for Dead Island. Now that's a huge topic to talk about >.> They've been doing an amazing job so far, can't wait to see more work from them (:
