Earlier today the developers over at DICE gave fans a taste of what is to come in it's upcoming WW1-shooter, Battlefield 1. Mere hours after its release we have more news regarding the beta of the aforementioned title. DICE confirmed that the Battlefield 1 open beta will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 31st.1

The beta will be available to early to "Battlefield Insiders", but we're still unsure on exactly how long. Players can check on the official {url=https://www.battlefield.com/community/insider}Battlefield website[/url] to see if they are already qualified as a Battlefield Insider.

The Battlefield 1 beta is confirmed to include two game modes, Conquest and Rush, which take place on the Sinai Desert map. The map was likely seen earlier today in the trailer as the map featuring the massive train.

Official Battlefield 1 gameplay will kick off tomorrow at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany.
