(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently jailbroke my iPhone 3GS with Spirit, worked very well, took a few seconds. I then decided I wanted to deleted (nevermind why). So I restored my iPhone via iTunes. Everything went back to normal and it was fine.

I now realise I want Cydia back, so I've tried to jailbreak in the same way, but every time I get "Cannot locate package" when I try to change theme, and many other errors when doing anything else.

I have restored my iPhone and tried again (after putting all my stuff on again) and also tried jailbreaking with just stock things on there, but there is still the same problem.

Could anyone help? P.S. my iPhone has just frozen :confused:

Well, iTunes recognizes as a second gen, and the model# starts with MC

Because where do you see it on itunes?

On spirit it might say 2g. But its not really a 2g if your have a MC model

No, when I originally connected my iPod to iTunes for the first time it said that it was a 2G

yeah sorry 3.1.3, and yup its the firmware. i may just give up on cydia if nobody knows a fix to this. how do i get rock?

You have to Updrage iTunes.

just download rock thu cydia... it usally works fine if your downloading rock
