To jailbreak, do the following:

Step 1: Download this You must login or register to view this content.
Step 2: Plug in your iDevice
Step 3: Click on "Make it ra1n"
Step 4: Follow the instructions to have your device put into DFU mode
Step 5: After you jailbroke your device, install Cydia, you might not see it right away, if so, you need to reboot and should be fine
Step 6: Have fun mofos

Look, geohot made this under 1 day, and as far as bugs go, if your using iPhone 4, iPod 4G, then i think your good to go, i only tried this with iPhone 4 and it really worked well, check out the newest beta

Reboot Ur iDevice

This Jailbreak works for all the newer iOS Devices (iphone 3g/3gs, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4g, Iphone 4g and some iPads) Sadly this Jailbreak does not work on iPod touch 2g or 1g currently on the 4.1 firmware. But not to worry, as the website Limera1n said that in the newer version of Limera1n, 2g iPod touches running on 4.1 will be supported.
