It does not ruin your iPod, it is not possible to transfer a virus from computer to iPod or iPhone range. If you don't like having a jailbroken iPod you can simply restore it.
Ensure your iPod touch or iPhone platform is older then a year (recommended) because Apple only provide your devices with a 12 month factory warranty.

Thanks man i think i will use this. I have jailbroke before with another programme but this is easier.
