I did this for my iPhone but right there at the top is the jailbreaking method for your IPod Touch on FW version 4.0.2 So yeah have fun and you can always give me a thumbs up if i helped you out! Im always happy to Help Another NGU Member!

RedSn0w is not hard at all. hardest part would be putting your IPod into DFU Mode when prompted.

Once you have the program open and choose what options you would like (like cydia, custom logos, custom start screen, ect) you have to power your IPod off by holding the lock button "on the top" untill a message pops up saying "Slide To Power Off" then once you power it off it will ask you to put it into DFU mode.

By holding the Home button "it lookst like this --> ([]) and is located on the front of your ipod" AND holding the lock button for 10 seconds after 10 seconds release ONLY the lock button, while still holding the home button for 30 seconds.

So Home and lock for 10 seconds

Release lock, while still holding home for 30 seconds.

From there it will do it all on its own!

Only enter that adress in the Safari of the iDevice and slice the slider and wait for it end.
