(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, im in desperate need of help, i just got this iphone 3gs and restored it, well what i did exaclty was, go to settings and they do erase all contents and settings or something like that and now basically it says i need a valid sim and it wont tell me what firmware im running or anything just comes up with no valid sim please put in a valid sim to activate something like that, i dunno where it was original purchase place was because of reasons cba explaining so yeah if you can help me to find out the firmware i can unlock it Happy

To fix your 3gs you need to put in a valid sim card and then plug into itunes. if you dont have one and just want it as an ipod download sn0wbreeze and hacktivate it.
if your a absolute n00b google "Sn0wbreeze" this is a dev-team tool which will preserve your baseband but update your phone and jailbreak it and hactivate!!!!!!!!!! Me vs IOS 4.2.1 :dingding:

Snowbreeze is made by iH8Sn0w who is NOT part of the Dev team... He only helps with certain projects... Nd it's not tht easy... He clearly doesn't have a sim card... He doesn't know wht firmware the iPhone is soo he can't hacktivate it... Unless he takes a shot in the dark, tht could really Screw him... Causing a brick tht cant b unblocked if he doesn't have a sim card

what sim came out of find out the install that sim then jailbreak then unlock sim with repo666 with cydia get stuck pm me?

use purplera1n its much easier add sauriks source (on the internet everywhere) then download it once installed resart the iphone and its unlocked to any network no sim needed to do this. Smile

i know this is abit late but did it work? i need to know because i think i might have to jailbreak again because i downloaded the lastest itunes by accident.
